Final Fantasy XIII officially coming to PC
Update: Square Enix officially confirmed the on-going rumors about Final Fantasy XIII coming to PC, and the first game in the saga is set to release next month.
All 3 XIII games will be released by Spring , the first of which is the original Final Fantasy XIII that you can pre-order now on Steam ahead of its release October 9 for $15.

Original Story: Fans of the famous franchise Final Fantasy have recently noticed the appearance of “Steam” logo on the official FFXIII website’s front page , does that mean we’ll be seeing an announcement from Square Enix soon ?
It’s well-known that Final Fantasy games have always been console-exclusive, we haven’t seen a release of any installment in the series after Final Fantasy VII and VIII (except for XI and XIV which are both MMO-type games), but giving the recent re-releases of Final Fantasy VII/VIII and IV it wouldn’t be a surprise for XIII to finally come to the platform .. it might indicate that Square is looking into getting in the PC market and could mean that Final Fantasy XV on PC is possible, just like what kojima did with MGS V last month.
The weird thing is that “Steam” logo still exists as the time of writing this article and hasn’t been pulled down yet or commented on, so we’ll be waiting for an official word to confirm the news or deny it.
Final Fantasy XII is the only Final Fantasy to span 3 games, Final Fantasy XII, XIII-2 , Lightning Returns. If the steam release is a thing it might be a full collection of the three games just like the recent trend of developers releasing former-exclusives on PC in packs.
