
Algerian teams join the WCA 2017 MENA regional finals in Dota 2
Dad is Proud and Monsters Have Hearts are the latest teams to join the WCA 2017 MENA regional finals, as they reached the finals of their country Algeria in a dominant fashion
With the conclusion of the Algerian qualifiers, the main WCA 2017 MENA event has all of its competitors ready to go. Teams from all around the Arab world are going to compete on a prize pool of 200,000 Dirhams and first place win to represent the region at the WCA 2017 international finals in China with a total pool of $700,000.
Algerian qualifiers had 16 Dota 2 teams fighting each other to reach the finals, but only Dad is Proud and Monsters Have Hearts came out on top after defeating both HYA and PRT respectively 2-0. As for the top seed, Monsters Have Hearts showed it deserves the spot by winning the final match against DiP in a dominant 2-0.
Both teams will now join the following in the main event:

- Iraq: Scratch the Surface and Kings

- Lebanon: Team Lebanon and Team Anime

- UAE: Team Loveless and 2K Players
- Tunisia: Train your Brain and Raze
- Saudi Arabia: Smash and Gremory Household
- Syria: Team Tangos and Art of Execution
