Arabic Dota 2 dream team is complete with W33 joining Team Liquid

The highly anticipated roster change by Team Liquid saw the arrival of one of the world’s most prominent Dota 2 professionals, the Romanian player of Syrian origins, Aliwi “W33” Omar.

The beloved Dota pro will replace Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” in the effective Liquid lineup, participating in the upcoming competitions including The International 9, where he will play alongside the Jordanian Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barqawi and the Lebanese Maroun “GH-” Merhej to form the ultimate Arab triangle on the scene.

Aliwi’s training with his new team started earlier this week, and he will be maintaining the mid-lanes of Team Liquid in the upcoming matches. The arrival of “w33” to the team will bring so many new options because of his ability to play with many heroes such as Invoker and Meepo, giving the team a wider selection of picks.

The former Team Secret and Digital Chaos player had spent the past few months trying to reach the top ranks of Dota Pro Circuit with his team, but Chaos was not up to the competition. The team’s exit from South America has resulted in putting “w33” on the bench, so moving to another team was only a matter of time.

Omar has previously played with both “GH” and “Miracle” in their search for large esports organizations adoption, so it’s safe to say they will form a cohesive team. The first test of the new lineup will be in the next EPICENTER Major competition tomorrow, which will serve as a preparatory test for the TI9 tournament in August, where Liquid will seek to repeat its global victory again.
