Blizzard announces its First Person Shooter “Overwatch”

Famous games makers Blizzard, well-known for World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2, has announced a new title joining its family by the name of Overwatch, a Multiplayer team-based FPS.

Blizzard described the new game announced at BlizzCon 2014 as a “pick-up-and-play first-person shooter” set in an all-new Blizzard universe, and it includes some components that were in the Canceled MMO Project Titan.

Gameplay is a team-based multiplayer, each player can pick one of the characters of different pattern, offense, defense, tank or support, each team consists of 6 players fighting in futuristic locations like hologram-lit London and high-tech Egypt.

Each character has different weapons and unique abilities, the teams must combine their characters’ powers to win the match. 12 heroes have been revealed so far and more characters are going to be added down the development line, a Beta is scheduled in 2015.
