Confusion surrounds the CS: GO market after Youtubers found guilty of owning a betting site

Bets and Skins trading is one part that has been around ever since Counter-Strike returned with Global Offensive and to many, it’s the main attraction. This gambling business has recently caught fire after one fan took things to the court claiming that the unofficial betting websites (not like there’re official ones) are actually funded by Valve itself, and that it runs an “illegal gambling market” in which Skins are used as chips. Today, it’s a different story but a similar case.

Apparently, two youtubers called “Trevor “TmarTn” Martin” and “Tom “ProSyndicate” Cassell” were exposed by “HonorTheCall” for owning the illegal betting website “CSGOlotto” and promoting it in their videos without officially disclosing that. That’s something against Youtube policy, and the fact that the website allows underages to bet is what makes it even worse.
