CS:GO Pro Player Will Be The Subject of an Autobiography
Considered to be one of the first true superstars of Counter-Strike, Emil “HeatoN” Christensen will be the subject of an autobiography, which will chronicle the 33-year-old’s journey through esports.
The book, which is titled “HeatoN: Livet på Spel” and roughly translates to “HeatoN: Playing with your life,” will be released in September. It deals with the many highs and lows of HeatoN’s esports career, as well as the numerous dark moments surrounding his personal life, “There have been a lot more setbacks than success, honestly,” HeatoN told Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan today. “Huge parts of my life have been difficult, but I think that is what’s shaped me as a person. People looking in often focus on my success, and I haven’t been all too keen to talk about my setbacks—but I’m laying it all out there now.”
Starting his career at the age of 17, HeatoN went on to become one of the most successful Counter-Strike players in the early 2000’s. HeatoN’s celebrity status didn’t only come from his time winning tournaments with teams like NiP and SK Gaming
