Following the withdrawal of Immortals, Joshua “steel” Nissan’sTorqued were brought in at last minute and the seeds were rearranged, with all the favourites managing to progress from the first round without too much trouble.
The semi-final stage brought an exciting encounter between OpTic and Misfits, with Sean “seang@res” Gares‘s men coming out on top of a three-map thriller thanks to an inspired performance from Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan, who boasted a +36 KDD and a 1.41 Rating. From the other side of the bracket came Renegades, who moved past CLG after two hard-fought maps despite a solid showing from Kenneth “koosta” Suen.

The title decider kicked off on Overpass, on which, after a close 8-7 first half, Misfits ran riot on the CT side, dropping just three rounds before locking down the map, 16-11. Inferno, the map that followed, was a one-sided affair from the start, with seang@res‘s men taking 13 rounds into the second half before quickly wrapping things up on the offensive side.
However the losing team players like Keith ‘NAF’ Markovic and Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward showed great skill and performance during the final game, also the winning team players like Shahzeb ‘ShahZaM’ Khan and François ‘AmaNEk’ Delaunay showed unmatched brilliance throughout the competition.
