DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018 qualifiers may hold an unexpected action

More news about the DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018 will come back to us. This time we will be focusing on their European qualifiers as well as information on North American qualifiers as well.

The organizers have announced the teams invited to DreamHack Masters Stockholm closed qualifiers in Europe and North America.

Both qualifiers are set to take place on June 27-28. In Europe, eight teams will battle it out for three spots at the $250,000 tournament.

The European open qualifier has already come to a close, as Spirit and NOBO secured berths in the closed qualifier, where they’ll join the six invited teams.

The first-round matchups of the double-elimination, best-of-three bracket look as follows:

13:00  HellRaisers vs.  Spirit

North America will see six teams fight for a single spot at DreamHack Masters Stockholm. The open part will conclude later tonight, as the two finalists will join four invitees in the closed qualifier.

As the highest seeds, Rogue and compLexity will start the tournament from the upper bracket semi-final, while eUnitedand Luminosity will battle it out against the two open qualifier teams in the first round of the upper bracket.
