DreamHack Open Valencia 2017 first semi final spots has been secured

NiP and Heroic have secured spots in the DreamHack Open Valencia semi-finals, topping their respective groups with a 2-0 record on the first day.

Heroic had a confident showing on their first day in Spain, starting the event with a win against Misfits despite the North American side putting up a good fight, but lost in two maps Overpass and Mirage with the same result 16-8 .

NiP‘s road to the playoff started by facing their old teammate Mikail “Maikelele” Bill and his new squad Red Reserve, and finish the game on Inferno with a convincing 16-3 scoreline, and again on Overpass 16-10 .
