EnVuUs wins CS: GO Gfinity Invitational LAN event
French CS: GO lineup at EnVyUs managed to snatch the win from Mousesports at last night’s Gfinity Invitiational LAN event, scoring the second tournament win for the team this year proving their worth despite the lack of big names.
Four teams from Europe competed on a $100.000 prize in a two days single-elimination tournament where the winner needs to win two best-of-five matches. The teams were GODSENT, Mousesports, EnVyUs, and Epsilon. First semi final put Epsilon and EnVyUs head to head and ended with the French rolling out the Swedes with a 3-1 result.
Second semi final gathered GODSENT and Mousesports, and despite the first having some of the former Fnatic pros they failed to win the match ending up with a 3-1 lose to Mousesports, who in turn was no match for EnVyUs at the finals thanks to the efforts of “apEX” and “kennyS” winning the tournament and the $100.000 prize along.
Congratulations EnVyUs and hard luck to the rest of the team.
