ESG Tour Mykonos 2017 matches results so far

A few days ago, the ESG Tour Mykonos 2017 has been launched, but much has been done recently in these professional competitions of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The first strong battle we saw in the tournament was the famous team Team Liquid, who managed to make a difficult victory over his opponent BIG in the map of Overpass and a close match at 16-14, and we noticed a good brilliance in this game for Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz and Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken and Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz despite the big draw in most of the course of the game, which made it a strong start to the events of the tournament.

Virtus.pro and Frenchman Team EnVyUs were on the Train map. However, the results of the match surprised us all when the French team failed to withstand the successive invasion of their Polish opponent, That quick victory but the stardom in the game was stolen from several players such as Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski and others to make the winner here is Virtus.pro.

Unfortunately Team Liquid’s team did not complete its misfortune after finding themselves in a great predicament during their match against Virtus.pro to identify the victor in Group B. The competition was on the Mirage map and all of them enjoyed winning the rounds in very close matches until they were played. 20 rounds reached a neutral 10-10 but the Polish team set up a solid wall of strong defense and a strategic offensive to end the game to a 16-10 lead and become the first to reach the ESG Tour Mykonos 2017 semi-final.

We now move on to the Group A games, which opened with competition between Gambit Esports and Denmark’s Heroic, and was one of the easiest games in the tournament so far. Gambit Esports beat his opponent smoothly at 16-7 on the Mirage map, His full control of the game was greatly improved by the players like Bektiyar “fitch” Bahytov and Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev. Despite their attempts at the end, they could find the equalizer, but the score was too big and failed to reach it.

We are now heading to another giant from Brazil, SK Gaming, who opened their first games in a tough victory against mousesports in a match on the Inferno map, which did not end with a regular result but went on extra rounds due to the draw between the two teams. Had the brilliant team of Brazil and finished the game with 19 – 15, despite the brilliance of his opponent Tomáš “oskar” Šastastný and Robin “ropz” Kool, whose performance was greatly reduced after the draw at 15-15.

SK Gaming was able to reserve the second seat of the semi-finals after winning the championship and moving to this advanced stage came when they beat Gambit Esports, who had previously scored a landslide victory in the event. Ended the tournament after losing 16-12 to Overpass thanks to a stunning brilliance of Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, João “felps” Vasconcellos and others.

The ESG Tour Mykonos 2017 is now waiting for the results of more strong matches to identify all the teams that reach the semi-finals and move closer to the big finals.
