ESL One Manila Dota 2 winners crowned

Events of ESL One Manila officially concluded yesterday, marking the end of the first major Dota 2 tournament to be held in Southeast Asia. The winners have been crowned and they’re definitely unexpected.

Eight teams competed around the world for the ESL One trophy and the first place with $250.000 prize pool. The win was something Chinese team Wings snatched as they surprised us with impressive matches against Fnatic and Team Liquid at the finals.

The miracle Chinese team won 3:0 in the grand final in a Best of five match. They have scored their first major one and put a mark in the Dota 2 professional scene undoubtedly as one of the best teams right now.

Upcoming ESL One championship in Dota 2 is going to Frankfurt June 18-19.
