
ESL Polish Championship announced
ESL Poland has announced that the next edition of the Polish Championship will feature a $16,000 prize fund.
In addition to the prize money, ESL will introduce a salary system to bring financial stability to the players, who will receive 270$ during a three-month period.
Eight teams will be taking part in the main stage of the ESL Polish Championship. Three will be directly invited by the league organisers, while the remaining five will be determined by a qualifying system featuring an open and a closed stage.
The tournament will see the eight participating teams face off in a best-of-two round robin stage. The top two teams will advance straight to the offline finals, scheduled for September 15-17 in Łódź, while the teams ranked 3-6 will play one more round of matches to decide the last two sides making it to the LAN stage.
