Final Fantasy IX soon coming to PC for the first time

The wait is finally over for PC player to try out one of the best Final Fantasy titles out there that was a PS1 exclusive, ever since release in 2000 (in case you haven’t heard of emulators for some reason). Square Enix announced that it’s bringing Final Fantasy IX to PC and smart devices later on this year.

The new release will have up-scaled High-Definition graphics and upgraded visuals and textures, along with some new features like Achievements, Auto-Save, High-Speed mode and more.

Even though the announcement was made for the Japanese market, it’s expected that the game will eventually release in the West a during the same time period. With the release of 9, almost all of the Final Fantasy series is now available on PC excluding XII and X/X-2 which might eventually land on it according to leaks.
