First English Esports 24/7 channel is about to launch in the UK

It looks like the dream might have came to life for Esports fans who had always wanted to watch their favorite hobby on the TV in a language they can understand. The UK is set to launch the first English Esports channel that broadcasts 24/7 content soon in a new step to popularize Esports with mainstream masses.

The new channel called “Ginx eSports TV” will be launched as a part of Sky’s sport channels in collaboration with ITV and it will be broadcasting many live tournaments starting the current TBS’s CS:GO ELEAGUE. Ginx is aiming to be the largest Esports TV channel with lots of varied contents ranging from live championships to news reports and analysis.

“GINX eSports TV aims to add significant mainstream TV exposure to the fast growing eSports ecosystem. I am also delighted about the prospect of Sky and ITV joining our shareholder roster, it goes without saying that the combined media footprint and expertise of both presents a significant opportunity for us to make a bigger impact, faster.”

inx eSports TV is a relaunch of the existing Ginx TV channel, which covers a broader range of gaming culture. It’s currently available online and through Virgin Media; for its relaunch on June 23rd, it’ll also be coming to Sky as part of the broadcaster’s “Original” TV bundle.
