Former Castlevania producer announces Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

One of gaming’s most renowned franchises, former producer and creator of the Castlevania games Koji Igarashi finally revealed his project which he kept teasing for a while after leaving Konami. A Kickstarter page has been released to back his latest titles in development, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, which is also described as the spiritual successor of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Worth mentioning that the campaign has been receiving money like crazy, hitting the 1$ million dollars mark under 21 hours which is a lot more than the required funds to develop the game. A whole month is left for the Kickstarted to end so it looks like Bloodstained is one of the most successful gaming campaigns on the website yet alongside Mighty No.9.
