G2 Esports win ECS after destroying Luminosity Gaming
The two rivals met again yesterday in a match that many would recognize as a retelling of the last ESL Pro League final, even though the outcome turned out to be the same. G2 Esports made it big again after destroying the Brazilian Luminosity at the Esports Championship Series CS: GO finals to win the grand prize of this $765.000 tournament.
After meeting and defeating the Swedish legendary team Fnatic at Semi-final it became clear that G2 had the grand prize in their eyesight. All of the players from shox to ScreaM did a wonderful performance scoring as much as 100 Average Damage per Round. G2 then moved on to the finals to meet its rival Luminosity in an exciting finale that turned out to be one-sided as G2 absolutely dominated the other team.
So congratulations to G2 Esports and hard luck for Luminosity Gaming in other events, especially the upcoming ESL One Cologne.
