Gears of War 4 Legends League $25k tournament announced

Gears of War is back to the Esports scene for this year, with a new international Gears of War 4 league coming at a $25,000 prize pool in May.

From May 9 to June 9, twelve teams will compete for pro points to earn a spot in the LAN event finals held in Huntington Beach, California from June 30 to July 2.

The first set of four open qualifiers will take place on March 18, with three more open qualifiers scheduled for March 25, April 8, and April 15. The top four teams from each open qualifier will then move to ladder play where, after a month, the top twelve teams will be moved into league play.
