H1Z1 Elite Series announced with $1 million total prize pool

It looks like Daybreak is back at it again with another big H1Z1 Esports tournament, and it’s the largest yet.

The new H1Z1 Elite Series circuit hopes to bring the best pros from around the world into this league across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Each region will be getting a share of $250,000 totaling at $1 million for all.

The first of these events will kick off at DreamHack Atlanta on July 21, with two different tournaments. One will be catered towards solo players, with the winner of the competition earning themselves $100,000. The other is for teams of five, with the team earning $150,000 to split between the players.

Obey Alliance, World Best Gaming, Denial Esports, and CLG will be taking part in the tournaments at DreamHack. The other spots will be filled by players that qualify in preliminary rounds, which will be run on-site at Atlanta.

Other locations for the Elite Series will be announced later this year, Daybreak confirmed in the announcement.
