Here’s the teams who took DreamHack Open Atlanta 2017 final playoffs spots

HellRaisers and Team EnVyUs are the final two teams through to the playoffs at DreamHack Open Atlanta 2017 after defeating Misfits and GODSENT, respectively.

The first decider match of the day, featuring Misfits and HellRaisers, started with a one-sided Overpass, which went the way of the Europeans after they racked up 13 rounds on the CT side.

On Inferno, the North Americans gave a much better account of themselves, but despite moments of brilliance from Hunter “SicK” Mims and François “AmaNEk” Delaunay, both of whom picked up an ace, they were unable to prevent Kirill“ANGE1” Karasiow‘s men from taking the map in the 30th round and the series.

Group B’s decider match saw Team EnVyUs and GODSENT play out a very close game on Cache. Despite disco doplan and twistonce again providing great numbers, the Swedish team still fell short in overtime.

Cobblestone, the map that followed, was a completely different story as EnVyUs quickly reached 16 rounds following an impressive all-round performance.
