Here’s what Microsoft showed us at Gamescom this year

Microsoft held a rather strong event yesterday during this year’s Gamescom expo, we can say it’s one of the best conferences for this year and it sure did bring us a lot to be excited about.

We gathered most of the important trailers from the Microsoft event and put them here in one place. If you hadn’t watched them yet now’s the time.

It starts with the amazing showcase of Quantum Break, which was announced to have Lord Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish from Game of Thrones to act in the game’s scheduled TV series as well as Dominic Monaghan who fans would recognize from LOST series and Lord of the Rings movies. The release date for Quantum Break is April 5 2016 exclusively on Xbox One.

First gameplay trailer of Crackdown 3 was shown as well, promising the most destructible multiplayer fun we’ve ever seen thanks to the power of Cloud computing servers which are 20 times more powerful than the Xbox One. Next was Hideki Kamiya and Platinum Games’ Scalebound, it looks like a fun hack-n-slash open world title where you have a dragon to your help on huge battles.

We also took our first look at the gameplay footage of Dark Souls 3. It looks both terrifying and exciting. It’s coming next year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A new trailer for Rainbow Six Siege was shown as well as Just Cause 3, then the conference concluded with a new Rise of the Tomb Raider footage and the surprising announcement of Halo Wars 2 from 343 and The Creative Assembly with a CGI trailer.
