KennyS joins G2 roster in new “superteam” shuffle
One of the biggest French teams in the world of competitive CS: GO has made some new and exciting changes to its roster, involving the arrival of KennyS and co.
G2 Esports new roster will be consisting of former EnVyUs-trio Kenny “kennyS” Schrub, Nathan “NBK” Schmitt and Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, as well as G2 mainstays Richard “shox” Papillon and Alexandre “bodyy” Pinaro. G2’s AWPer Edouard “SmithZz” Dobourdeaux will step down from his player role to make the transition a coach.
The unveiling of the new team confirms what has come to be known as “the French shuffle”, with French team’s former CS:GO roster will not be continuing with the team in 2017. Only shox and bodyy remain from the team’s 2016 roster. ScreaM will be leaving the team to an unknown destination, with rumors pointing at possible FaZe recruitment.
This is one of the most significant roster moves in French CS:GO. KennyS, apEX and NBK are all Valve Major champions, and have won several other international LANs under the EnVyUs banner. It’ll be exciting to see what the new roster can do.
