Leak hints a current gen release of Resident Evil 6

Korean Classification Board apparently pulled the trigger early on this one, as it recently rated a release for the 2012 Resident Evil title on current-gen consoles.

Even though Capcom hadn’t mentioned the subject, yet if the previous leaks of this board is of any indication -like Gravity Rush Remaster and Limbo for Xbox- then we’re getting a remaster of RE6. We’re not sure if this is a wise choice as the game wasn’t that well-received when it released and is one of the weaker installments in the series.

Capcom is already busy currently with multiple releases in this franchise. A multiplayer shooter by the name of Umbrella Chronicles is in the work for 2016, as well as the remastered Resident Evil 0. Not to mention the confirmed remake of Resident Evil 2 and the hinted Resident Evil 7.

We’ll wait for Capcom’s official statement on this one.
