MaRin returns to Korea next year under Afreeca Freecs label

One of the best League of Legends players in 2015 is set to return to Korea next year after leaving SKT to join Chinese LGD team previously this year.

Jang “MaRin” Gyeong-Hwan will be returning to South Korean competitions under Afreeca Freecs label as he joins the newly established team. Unlike in 2015 when he won Worlds with his team, MaRin struggled to make any notable achievements this year with LGD finishing at 7-8th place at best in China.

AF too had no signature year in League of Legends, but it’s sort of explainable because of having only made debut early 2016. However, 2017 looks to be a very promising year as MaRin will be joining forces with both ROX Tigers’ previous mid laner Lee “Kuro” Seo-haeng and CJ Entus’ most recent AD carry Ha “Kramer” Jong-hun, making us eager to see what can come out of such a solid roster.
