Metal Gear Solid V voice actress confirms that Kojima had been fired from Konami

A new chapter in this internal drama going on in Konami emerges, as a statement by Donna Burker one of the MGS V: TPP voice actors rekindled the debate on whether or not had Kojima been fired from the company.

Donna tweeted with her official account on the matter saying: “Yes don’t throw away the Kojima teams work over the last 5 years because upper management fired a genius”. Only for her to confirm it later on when asked by a fan:

We’re still waiting for an official statement made by Konami to clarify everything that had been going on with Kojima and his involvement in all of this. Fans have been rather angry for the loss of such a legendary developer if what’s being said is correct.
