Miracle-led team Orcus comes out on top at Jordan qualifiers for WCA 2017 MENA tournament
The expected had happened, and the world champion is here to prove his worth leading his local team to victory at the Jordanian qualifiers of WCA 2017 MENA tournament in Dota 2, advancing to the next stage by winning the finals.
The final match for Jordanian teams had Orcus meet team DogsDota, which tried its best to outdo the world-class play by Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barqawi but to no avail. The International 7 winner and Team Liquid member led his team to a clean win through the qualifiers not dropping a single game and advancing to the MENA main qualifiers in October. DogsDota didn’t lose its chance though, as reaching the finals was enough for it to also qualify to the next stage where it will have the chance to win from over 200,000 Dirhams of prizes.
Orcus and DogsDota join a list of Arab qualified teams like: Team Lebanon (led by the other Team Liquid star GH) and Team Anime (Lebanon), Game of Thrones (Kuwait), Five Libyans (Libya), Team Loveless and 2K Players (UAE),Train your Brain and Raze (Tunisia), Smash and Gremory Household (KSA).
