Misfits now owns TSM’s former CS: GO roster
After both TSM and its former CS: GO squad parted ways yesterday, Misfits was quick to move and pick up the roster.
Roughly three weeks after removing team captain Sean Gares in the light of troubled relationship because of the PEA debacle, TSM announced that it has released the remaining four players on its roster. This means that the Misfits CS:GO roster will consist of Gares, Russel “Twistzz” David Van Dulken, Skyler “Relyks” Weaver, Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan and Hunter “SicK” Mims.
Having recently received a major investment from NBA team Miami Heat, Misfits has been expanding its reach at a considerable rate. In recent weeks it has expanded to Hearthstone and bolstered its Smash Bros roster, now entering Counter-Strike for the first time in the organization’s short history.
TSM releasing its players also means that the team will not be represented in the upcoming season of the $2 million ESL Pro League. ESL have confirmed that the league slot has been transferred to Misfits
