MLG Columbus concludes and Luminosity emerges victorious
Luminosity Gaming secured its first Major win ever with the events of MLG Columbus drawing to a conclusion last night, beating Natus Vincere 2-0 to prove it has become one of the best Counter-Strike teams out there.
Marcelo “Coldzera” David was awarded MVP for the entire tournament. He finished with a +84 KD ratio over the nine maps played and was a big role in his team’s victory. Luminosity took home $500.000 first place prize, but it wasn’t all doom and gloom for Na’Vi as they also got $150.000 prize money and an automatic qualifications for the next CS: GO Major.
The new win for Luminosity is considered an indication of how the team’s play has improved over one year only, jumping from 8th place at Katowice last year to the winner and one of the best teams in Counter-Strike right now.
Congratulations and hard luck to all !
