
MLG planning for a new eSports arena in Ohaio
News have been going lately about MLG’s intention into opening a new eSports arena in Columbus, Ohaio next month. where Call of Duty: Ghosts’ season 3 tournament will be held starting October 24 for a prize money of $75.000.
Not only that, but MLG plans to do similar efforts around the world, including a Stadium that has 15.000 seats in China.
MLG or Major League Gaming is one of the gaming tournaments organizations in the US and abroad, it holds tournaments and competitions in various famous games like Call of Duty: Ghosts, League of Legends and Starcraft. MLG has a competitor to Twitch.tv named MLG.tv which has videos of Call of Duty pros and more who have abandoned Twitch to broadcast on MLG. We’ve also seen a collaboration between them and ESPN earlier this year to organize their event at the famous X-Games.
