More information on PS4 release of Beyond: Two Souls

Some new information about the current-gen release of the previously PS3-exclusive were revealed, and the most important one is that the game is releasing this week November 24 on PSN.

Ever since we knew about Quantum Dream’s intention of bringing its titles to the PS4, we haven’t heard much nor did we see any trailers. The developers chose to reveal everything just before launch like they did now with Beyond: Two Souls, which is coming the day after tomorrow. The most important features of this release are:

  • Enhanced 1080p graphics including motion blur, bloom and depth of field effects, as well as improved lighting and shadows. The game also makes use of the DualShock 4 speaker to improve immersion when playing as the Entity.
  • Decisions are highlighted at the end of each scene and compared with those made by other players.
  • Once you have completed Beyond: Two Souls, you will be able to replay the game in chronological order — a much requested feature in the PS3 version!
  • Increased difficulty in certain fight scene, combined with improved controls for action sequences.
  • Includes the “Enhanced Experiments” DLC.

Game will cost you $30 when you buy it digitally this week, while Heavy Rain is to be released March 1. Watch the new trailer below:
