Learn all the details about the new Nations Elite Esports tournament

We have a new championship waiting for us next November, Nations Elite Esports for the shooting game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

 

Nations Elite Esports has also announced the two first invites to the tournament, GODSENT and LDLC, who will be fighting with another six teams for the lion’s share of the ~$29,500 prize pool.

The first two teams, GODSENT and LDLC, will be joined by two more invited teams while four more spots will be up for grabs for European teams from different regions.

The first three qualifiers will be played on November 11-12 and will be for three European regions: The Balkans, Iberia (Portugal and Spain), and the Nordic region. On November 18-19 will be the last qualifier, which will be open to European teams.

When all qualified teams are set and the rest of the invites announced, a live group draw on November 23 will leave everything squared off for the tournament to kick off.

The group stage will be played out in a round robin, with the first and second teams of each group moving to a single elimination playoff. All matches will be best-of-three with the exception of the grand final which will be a best-of-five.

The prize distribution for the first season of NEE will be:

* for every win, teams will be awarded ~$590
