Natus Vincere captain think roster changes “are necessary”
Team Natus Vincere has been eliminated from PGL Major Krakow 2017 in the fourth round of the Swiss stage following defeats to G2, Immortals and fnatic.
After eight consecutive playoff appearances at Majors, Natus Vincere have lost their Legend status, and Denis “seized”Kostin have some comments about it.
“Changes? Yes, I think they are necessary, but I do not know what they could be
I have a couple of thoughts in my head [about what changes are needed], I think I cannot fulfill the captain role in the long run.
It’s best if the team has another leader, but I do not see anyone else from our team who can do it. Therefore, it must be someone who is already a captain.
In CS:GO, the current best captains have been playing for 10 or 15 years, and they have been captain for most of their career. There are no examples of captains appearing out of nowhere.”
seized then confessed that he would like for Na`Vi to re-sign Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko, who was replaced by Aleksandr“s1mple” Kostyliev “Yes, I’d want to see him return as captain”
Questioned about his dip in form, he stressed that he can put in great performances again “without certain circumstances.”
“I realize that I have been under performing lately, but I know that I can play as well as I did a year ago,” he noted.
“Those circumstances include being an in game leader and doing other things within the team.
“If the team decides to kick me, then that’s the way it has to be. I will accept any decision, but I know that, if I get removed and join another team, I will play at the same level as before.”
Meanwhile, s1mple echoed seized’s sentiments, writing on Twitter: “There will be changes to the team.”
