New Hitman movie gets some really bad scores

Video games movies have always been below expectations, while some were bad the others were half decent. The new Hitman movie is a no-exception here, as Agent 47’s latest iteration caught the curse of bad video games movies.

“Hitman” scored a very low 8% on movies rating website “Rotten Tomatoes”, beating only the likes of Silent Hill: Revelations and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation making it one of the worst game-based movies of all time. It’s not much better either on “Metacritic” as it has scored a low %29 rating comparable to bad movies like Hose of the Dead, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li and Postal.

Will the upcoming Assassin’s Creed and Uncharted movies suffer the same fate? we hope not.

Next game in the Hitman franchise is coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 this December as a digital title.
