New information on The Division weather system revealed

The upcoming multiplayer shooting game “The Division” got some new information revealed by Ubisoft on its dynamic weather and its effects on gameplay, as well as how the lights affect visibility.

As we’ve previously saw in past trailers, The Division has an advanced dynamic weather system that keeps changing in real time. Looks like its importance is far more than cosmetic as it might benefit a player or halt his progress. When a strong storm comes in the visibility will be reduced and the aim assist won’t work properly because of that weather situation. The stronger the storm is the less accurate you can aim and see and that’s why it’s advised to take shelter in the many buildings you can seamlessly enter in the game while the wind calms down.

As for the lights, when you’re near a light source the NPC enemies’ attention will be drew towards you so if you don’t want to get into an early fight stay away from obvious positions. However, in total blackout areas the visibility of your character will be affected as well so darkness isn’t the best solution either.

The Division comes March 8 next year on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
