The new Loading Screen is on its way to League of Legends

After a long wait filled with fans requests, the new Loading Screen is finally on its way to League of Legends, according to the latest PBE update.

For starters, we’re finally getting a team chat function included in the new loading screens—one of the most-requested features. With this finally in play, teams should be able to coordinate early game strategies before even hitting the Rift. Like, say, a level one invade, early gank, or even a dance-off in the river. Anything’s possible.

The sidebar will include a small information panel about jungle monsters and things like that as well as a reminder of the map/game mode you’re playing. More importantly, it will include the lobby chat which will carry over from champion select and allow you to continue talking to your teammates and planning your upcoming game.

All of these loading screen changes are just preliminary for now, since they’re on the PBE right now.

These new Loading Screen changes should arrive next few weeks in the live game.
