New trailer for Pokken Tournament reveals global release date

Upcoming Pokemon game under the title of “Pokken Tournament” combines the world of Pokemon and its monsters with the fighting style of Tekken, and it will be released on the Wii U as the first Pokemon title for Nintendo’s home console.

Release date has been confirmed to be Spring 2016 published by Namco Bandai. There’s an arcade version currently available only in Japan and select US locations for testing purposes. The footage below is from that version so it does not represent the final game, but watch it for the gameplay anyway:
