News on Resident Evil 7 coming soon and no Devil May Cry in plans
Capcom asked its fans to “stay tuned” for upcoming news on Resident Evil 7 via its producer Masachika Kawata in the latest interview.
Even though the development team at Capcom is currently busy with three upcoming games which are Resident Evil 0 Remake, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Umbrella Corps, Kawata hinted at the next numbered sequel Resident Evil 7 in the interview published by Dengeki Playstation magazine. He said that the team can’t speak about it now, but fans should stay tuned.
“Since there’s been more spinoff titles, I can see how it can be perceived in such a way. And of course I believe that we should produce titles that bring out the horror. I’m thinking about it and also preparing for it.”
In other related piece of news, fans of the demon slayer Dante will be sad to know that there’s no new game in plans. Producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi said that he’d love to work on the project personally but there are no plans as of now.
