Next Generation arrive for WCA 2017 CS: GO MENA regional grand final
Just a few moments ago we witnessed the end of the last battle in the semi-finals of the MENA regional finals in the World Championship WCA 2017 of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
The final match of the day was a high-quality competition between Spotnet and Next Generation, and there was similar brilliance and clear performance from the two.
The first map was Cache of the Next Generation selection. Unfortunately, it seems that they did not make the choice right this time. as they suffered a defeat against their opponent and the result alone shows that at 16-5.
The second map was Train, which was Ironically chosen by Spotnet. We used this expression because they lost the battle on this map even though they showed good performance. However, their opponent preceded them with many rounds and made the final score among them 16-8 for Next Generation.
The draw between the two teams took us to a third map, the well-known Cobblestone, and both teams had similar experience in this map.
Their similar experience and the great pressure on both sides led them to do their best, so the draw was the unrivaled result of today third map.
The game then moved on to additional rounds, where Spotnet managed to win one of them, but Next Generation unleashed its high will and won the rest of the rounds to become the official winner of this competition at 19-16 and at a final result 2-1.
Next Generation is the second and last contender to the big finals of these qualifiers, and to the main event of the WCA 2017 tournament as well, and the features of the qualifiers finals are now clear and will be a distinct conflict between the two teams Aimers alive and Next Generation.
