NRG former players create their new team
The Three former members of NRG Esports CS:GO have returned to their homeland and formed their own organization as it seems, with announcement made that they will be playing under the label “BIG”.
Following a disappointing period in North America that saw the NRG squad struggle to make any significant impact, Fatih ‘gob b’ Dayik, Nikola ‘LEGIJA’ Ninić and Johannes ‘tabseN’ Wodarz were released from the team in favor of a new North American roster. Upon returning to Europe, the trio have decided to stick together and form a German squad. Forming their own organisation, BIG, the team then bought out the contracts of Kevin ‘keev’ Bartholomäus from ALTERNATE, and Johannes ‘nex’ Maget from mousesports.
“After our 1-year stint with NRG in North America, Johannes (tabseN), Niko (Legija) and myself have decided to return to Germany and together create a German team that we’ve been dreaming about.” gob b spoke out. “We’ve always had this roster constellation in mind, that’s why we decided to pay the buyout for Joe (nex) from mousesports and Kevin (keev) from ALTERNATE. We would like to thank both organisations for a fair buyout offer and a fast communication. Our next upcoming match will be against mousesports (DH Las Vegas qualifier). For now we’ll be focussing on playing and adjust to the new situation and of course we have some great give-aways planned for you guys. We will be posting regular updates in the coming weeks!”
