OpTic Gaming qualifies to ESL One New York

CS: GO pros at OpTic Gaming managed to outshine Cloud9 last night and win the last spot to upcoming ESL One event in New York.

Many American teams fought hard for this last spot at the anticipated ESL One however only OpTic could make it through. The team showed great performance winning on NRG eSports, Immortals and lastly Cloud9. Last match ended up 2-1 maps for OpTic after a good performance from Cloud9 but it wasn’t just quite enough to win this fight.

OpTic’s win comes mere hours after announcing that Damian “daps” Steele is leaving the team. daps deprature is the second for the team under two months after Peter “stainslaw” Jarguz was replaced back in August with Tarik “tarik” Celik.

So it seems that an exciting weekend is awaiting us with top teams OpTic, Astralis, G2 Esports, Team Liquid, Natus Vincere, Virtus.Pro, SK Gaming and Fnatic competing on a $250.000 prize in New York, where the very first VR broadcast in Esports will make its debut.
