Planetside 2 gains Guinness World Record in largest FPS battle ever

Online multiplayer shooting game Planetside 2 has recently acquired a Guinness Record for the largest battle in FPS games history, featuring over 1000 players online at the same time.

Previous record holder “Man vs Machine” had 999 players online, while Planetside 2 community-based event reached a total of 1,158 players at the same time.

Planetside 2 is one of the largest FPS games you can come across. Featuring large scale battles throughout planets and armies of players fighting in massive amounts. It’s a free to play title that you can try now on PC or wait for the PS4 version which is having a closed beta as of now.
