Here are the representing players of US and Canada at Overwatch World Cup

The committees have finally chosen the players of two of the anticipated national teams, Team United States and Team Canada that will be competing at Overwatch World Cup later this year.

The US team will be consisting of FaZe Clan tank Russell “FCTFCTN” Campbell and support Shane “Rawkus” Flaherty, Cloud9 support Adam “Adam” Eckel, ex-Fnatic flex Matt “coolmatt69” Iorio, Selfless DPS Jay “sinatraa” Won, and LG Evil DPS Jake Lyon.

The announcement was made by streamer Steven “ster” Serge, Team EnVyUs coach Kyle “kyky” Souder, and caster Jason Kaplan at E3. Team Canada’s team announcement was quickly hurried along. Chosen by Detroit Renegades Overwatch player Liam “Mangachu” Campbell, community figure Chris “HuK” Loranger, and Twitch streamer Pokelawls, the Team Canada roster is as follows: Renegades DPS Mangachu, Immortals DPS Brady “Agilities” Girardi, Yikes! tank Félix “xQc” Lengyel, Cloud9 DPS Lane “Surefour” Roberts and support Randal “Roolf” Stark, and compLexity Gaming support Joe “Joemiester” Gramano.

The US and Canada national teams are in separate groups, and may not face each other in the main event. Both teams are participating in an Overwatch showmatch following the announcement event at E3: The winner earns the title of North America’s best. In the Overwatch World Cup group stage, US will play Taiwan, Brazil, and New Zealand in Group G. Canada, on the other hand, will face Russia, Singapore, and Turkey in Group F. The group stage of the Overwatch World Cup is expected to begin later this year, leading into a final event at BlizzCon in November.
