Here are the prominent changes in Patch 7.11 in League of Legends

The Patch 7.11 has many changes, Champion Reworks, Features back and more in this Report.

10 Bans

We’ve known for a couple of weeks that the 10 ban system was arriving with Patch 7.11, so let’s recap what exactly is going to change. For starters, it’s not going to be what you’d expect. It isn’t going to be like the six-player ban phase we have now, just with four more bans. The format is being changed entirely.

All players on both teams will be banning champions at the exact same time, and your team’s bans will be hidden from the enemy team, and vice versa. This means that there can be duplicate bans, so you’ll have to predict what you think the enemy team will ban based on the current meta so you don’t waste a ban yourself. During the banning phase, you will be able to both hover who you’re planning to ban and who you’re planning to pick, so your team can coordinate bans based on each other’s plans. This style of draft was ultimate decided to be the best option to maintain fairness, to make all players’ decisions feel impactful, and to avoid making the pregame phase take too much time.

Some Features Back

Item sets are back

That’s right, the item set creator tool is making its triumphant return in tomorrow’s patch. The feature is perfect for folks that forget the countless possibilities for situational item builds. This way, you’ll be able to save them all to appear in your shop once you’ve loaded into the game. You can remind yourself when to build items, which items to build, which champions to build them on, and when to deviate from the path for unique situations.

The Recently Played list is returning

Another feature that has been notably missing since the client update has been the Recently Played list. This list showed you all the players from the last game that were both on your team and the enemy team, so if you disliked any of them in particular, you could add them to your friends list and harass them via direct messages until they eventually block you, you jerk. Don’t worry, though, the feature is returning tomorrow as well, and there are a few improvements. If you liked any of the players, you’ll be able to drag them directly from this list into your lobby to send them an instant invite.

Malzahar Rework

This third rework is adding something to Malzahar’s kit that he hasn’t had in a long time—burst damage. There isn’t much to say about the changes, because they’re pretty simple apart from his Voidlings. Both his Q and E are going to deal more damage and scale harder with AP, and his ultimate is going to deal a lot more damage. Seriously, don’t underestimate how much damage his ultimate will do now, because the numbers are crazy. The Voidlings on his W, however, are going through more complicated changes.

The W will now function using a stacking system, and Malzahar can gain stacks by using other abilities. Don’t worry though, he can’t spawn a million at once anymore, because the maximum stacks he can have is two, so he’ll be able to summon two at once. They also won’t last as long after being summoned, and they have actual health bars now rather than a hitpoint type of system. If you hit them with a regular old basic attack, though, they will instantly die.

Rekt’Sai Rework

She was designed to be a terrifying underground assassin that could strike at any time, but she turned out to be pretty much the opposite of that as a vanguard tank. This rework will bring her back to her roots. Because roots are also underground.

The base damage has been lowered on most of her damaging abilities, and instead, the bonus AD scaling has been raised to the skies.  Her ultimate ability is also being completely changed to take away her incomparable map pressure. Instead of zooming across the map to any one of her tunnels, she will dive into the ground and shoot out in front of her victim, gashing them and dealing a lot of damage. It’s an executing ability, so the lower the health, the more damage it deals.

That’s not all, though. Her tunnels and unburrowing knock-up are being shifted around to match her new assassin identity as well. She’ll be able to dive into her tunnels much, much more often, and when unburrowing, she’ll only be able to knock up one target at a time. Expect to see a lot more Rek’Sai after this patch, because she’s probably going to be even stronger than Kha’Zix and Rengar after this rework.

Items changes

After a dominating reign over the League of Legends meta, both Ninja Tabi and Blade of the Ruined King (BotRK) are being nerfed in tomorrow’s Patch 7.11, according to the official patch notes.

There are also some smaller item changes coming tomorrow. Combination costs on the Nomad’s Medallion item line are being lowered, and the Guardian Angel is getting a brand new icon.

This Patch 7.11 are available now when update League of Legends.
