PS4 price cut is now official

After reducing the price for its console in Japan last month, Sony announced today that PS4 will officially get a price cut in the US and Canada by $50. The console now sits at $350.

Starting today you’ll be able to get a PS4 for $350 instead of $400 in the US and a similar cut in Canada. The price reduction comes after three weeks of Sony’s announcement regarding the Japanese market at the last Tokyo Game Show.

It’s expected that the price will be cut everywhere in a short time. The drop was expected by Xbox president Phil Spencer who said that Sony might be lowering its price soon.
