Quantum Break to get a sequel and talks about multiplayer in later games

Even though Remedy are considered of those Single-player studios for their work on Alan Wake, Max Payne and now Quantum Break, multiplayer is still in later plans and hasn’t been ruled out according to Sam Lake.

In an interview with Dualshockers, Lake spoke about multiplayer talks and how the studio wants to get with the times and try out new things to make games cooler.

“There are discussions about all kinds of ideas. We want to evolve with the times as well: try out new things that push ourselves, and always come back and question, ‘What is a Remedy game and how can we evolve it into something even cooler?’

As for whether or not there’ll be another Quantum Break game, Sam Lake said there’s nothing to share at the moment but whenever you make a new IP you have to think about a whole world.

“That’s something that will be obviously determined by the success of Quantum Break,” he said. “When we build a new IP we do a lot of background work on it, and kind of build a lot more than just the game. You know, time will tell.”

Quantum Break is now available on PC and Xbox One.
