Red Bull becomes official sponsor of pro Dota 2 team OG
European pro Dota 2 team OG have announced their newest sponsor, and it’s non-other than Red Bull.
The well-known energy drinks company has created media content covering the team’s journey to The International 7, but now thanks to a new partnership they will officially have their Red Bull logo on OG’s own trademark.
“Very excited to finally be able to take OG to a new level together with our long term friends at Red Bull. Red Bull has been helping and taking care of us for over a year, and we wouldn’t be where we are without that kind of support. I would like to thank everybody involved in this future endeavor, and all the fans who have been supporting us throughout thick and thin!” Johan ‘n0tail’ Sundstein, OG Co-Founder & player said in a statement.
OG’s website is now featuring the new Red Bull sponsored OG logo. A video published on the team’s social media pages also shows the familiar, green OG trademark “transforming” into the team’s new identity. Watch it below:
The new partnership with Red Bull comes mere days before the group stage’s start of The International 7. We hope that the players can use the extra resources offered to them to better prepare for the huge Dota 2 event.
