Release date for consoles version of Tekken 7 revealed

If you’re not living currently in Japan, chances are that you’re like us waiting for the arrival of the next game in the fighting franchise Tekken on home consoles. As Tekken 7 was released exclusively for Japanese arcades back in March. Luckily, we now know when to expect the game in other parts of the world.

Marketing manager at Bandai Namco spoke to a Spanish website during the events of Madrid Games Week about the game, saying that Tekken 7 will be released on home consoles in 2016 without giving a concrete date. This might put it in a direct competition with Street Fighter V which also will be released next year. Which game is going to be the best fighter?

Tekken 7 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One, with some reports mentioning a PC release for the first time since the franchise’s debut.
