Rumor: Rise of the Tomb Raider might come to PS4 in 2016

The sequel to 2013’s Tomb Raider is an Xbox exclusive for this year, but despite the mystery surrounding the type of exclusivity between Square Enix and Microsoft the possibility of it releasing on another platform has been brought to light again.

We’re really confused whether Rise of the Tomb Raider is a one-year exclusive or a long term one, as we’ve only heard that it’s “2015 holiday exclusive”. However, a new video on the Youtube channel called The Know indicates that the deal might be shorter than we expect and that it’s coming to Sony’s platform as well. This isn’t the first rumor that comes from The Know and while they do have a couple of rumors that were true like Dark Souls 3 being announced, they were also the origin of that “Microsoft buying Silent Hills for billions” rumor as well so treat this one as it is.

According to the video Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming with a reduced price for the PS4 to suck the anger of its fans that chose other platforms as their gaming systems and felt betrayed. It also states that promotion for the PS4 version will start early next year and will be released by the end of it.
