The schedule for DAC DOTA 2 Asia Championships 2018 in this report
DAC DOTA 2 Asia Championships 2018 is the biggest story of the week, the first Major to be held in China begins.
Sixteen teams will compete in the DAC 2018 Major at the Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, China from March 29 to the 7th of April with the $1,000,000 prize pool and a total of 1500 TI8 qualifying points up for grabs. The group stage will take place from the 29th until April 3rd, followed immediately by the Main Event taking place from the 4th through the 7th.

DAC 2018 Major Format:
Group Stage
- Sixteen teams play in a Bo1 round robin.
- Top two teams from each group advance to the Playoffs of Main Event.
- Bottom two teams from each group eliminated.
Main Event
Breakout
- 8 teams: 3rd – 6th place teams from each group
- One-round Bo3 single-elimination bracket.
- 4 winners advance, losers are eliminated.
Playoffs
- 8 teams: 4 winners of the Breakout and the Top 4 winners from Group Stage
- Double-elimination bracket.
- The first two rounds of the Lower bracket are Bo1, while the Grand Finals are Bo5. Others are Bo3.
