ScotLTravis joins Yahoo’s Esports editing team

One of the most well-recognized journalist figures in the Esports division is reportedly joining the media giant Yahoo, after the later announced it’s joining the Esports world.

Travis ‘ScotLTravis’ Gafford, a well known member of the League of Legends community and a hugely popular interviewer and journalist about major esports title League of Legends, has agreed a deal to join Yahoo’s esports editorial team. One paper revealed the news saying he agreed to leave CBS Interactive in favor of Yahoo.

The company has been hiring some good reporters in recent weeks as it looks to build an editorial and content creation team for each of the specific major esports titles so it can compete and reserve its place among other Esports outlets, as it’s not the only big name joining the division with the recent spark of interest circling around between media giants like ESPN.
